时间介词的常用边界
at night、in the morning、on Monday morning；next / last / this / every 前通常不加时间介词。
We met last Friday and will meet again next week.
我们上周五见过，下周还会再见。
不写 on next week。英式英语常用 at the weekend，美式 on the weekend 也成立。
到达与交通
arrive at 小地点或具体地点，arrive in 城市国家；arrive home 通常不加介词。
We arrived in York by train and arrived at the hotel at noon.
我们乘火车到约克，中午到酒店。
by train 表方式；on the train 表在那班火车上。
方向、穿过与位置
to 表去往，into 表进入，out of 表离开内部，across 表横穿，through 表穿过内部。
Walk across the square and through the arch.
穿过广场，再穿过拱门。
between 常用于两者间，也可用于多个清楚分开的对象；among 强调群体中。
by / until 与 for / during
by 是最晚时间；until 表持续；for + 时长；during + 事件或时期名词。
We stayed for two hours during the festival.
节日期间我们待了两个小时。
during 不直接回答多久；for two hours 才是时长。
